Office Administrator

Part Time – 25 hours/week

£14,313 per annum

We are looking to employ an enthusiastic and experienced administrator to join our team at Newark Care.  The post holder will report to the Care Manager of Burnfield Care Home in Giffnock and support them in carrying out the daily administrative tasks within the home.  

Duties include a range of office functions, including: handling correspondence and telephone calls, arranging meetings, dealing with PVG applications and administering recruitment processes.  

Newark Care is celebrating 70 years providing high quality nursing and residential care for older people.  We operate 2 homes – Burnfield in Giffnock and Westacres in Newton Mearns.  Both homes are highly regarded by the Care Inspectorate, and Burnfield is one of the few nursing homes in Scotland to receive a 6 ‘for excellence’.

The work is varied and no two days are ever the same.

You should have at least 2 years experience in a busy office environment, be a ‘self starter’ and able to work as part of a team.  A good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel is essential.

In addition to the annual salary of £14,313, we offer a pension contribution of 3%.
