Welcome to Westacres

 

Westacres is a modern, purpose-built Care Home, providing residential and nursing care for up to 38 residents.

First opened by Newark Care in July 2000, Westacres was built to enable older people of the Jewish faith to receive care and support consistent with their assessed needs in a comfortable home environment.  Newark Care welcomes residents from the wider community – for those of all faiths and of none.

The Home seeks to provide the highest standard of care and accommodation. Registered nursing staff and qualified carers are on duty 24 hours a day providing care and support.
Westacres is located in Newton Mearns, the residential suburb on the south side of Glasgow. The Avenue Shopping Centre is just a mile away, as is the newly developed Greenlaw Village Business Park. Access to the M77 (northbound to Glasgow) is nearby via Junction 4.
